Much like the presidents of the United States, state governors also issue Executive Orders. Typically they are issued to establish boards or commissions or to authorize the performance of other functions that are appropriate to the executive authority of the Governor.
Governor Ducey has issued one today, Executive Order 2015-09: Self-Driving Vehicle Testing and Piloting in the State of Arizona; Self-Driving Vehicle Oversight Committee. This order, along with all of the other Executive Orders issued by Governor Ducey and previous Arizona governors, can be found in the Arizona Executive Orders collection of the Arizona Memory Project:
